A simple table covered with oilcloth. A man and a woman, a farming couple tells their daily lives. They come to us directly ease. You might know or recognize as their testimony is close to our daily life. They evoke in fact a subject that is vital we: our food, life and the future of those who wish to exercise this fine trade that is feeding the world.
Farmer's son himself, Charles Base, once became an actor wanted to pay tribute to the peasant world describing tenderly but also truth, their working conditions, their love of the earth, their concerns about the excesses of the agro -Food, their struggle, their despair. All these slices of life, once brought to the scene by the video or the acting form a rare theatrical moment. This beautiful show highlights all humanity of these men and women who work for us, he asked us a multitude of issues "because through the plight of farmers, it is the state of our world and the one we leave to our children is here questioned "(Le Soir).
This show has toured many places, it was on show at the National Theatre and was officially selected by the Province of Luxembourg to represent it at the Avignon Festival.
