In full pharaonic Egypt, the love of Radames, general Egyptian, and Aida, Nubian slave, is threatened by the war that will engage both countries. But another danger awaits: Amneris, daughter of the King of Egypt, is enamored of Radames and sees Aida a rival. The victory of Egyptian troops is total. As a reward, the King offers his daughter to Radamès. The latter will quickly betray his entrusting important secrets to Aida. Sentenced to be buried living, Radames will fully assume its destiny, to the chagrin of Amneris, ready for anything to see live. In the solitude of his tomb, the fallen general found Aida come him reaffirm his love and die at his side.
