The work takes the uneven form of a biography, real and fantastical, of Monsieur Jacques Delui, born at the end of the Second World War and dying at the beginning of the 21st century. It is therefore about the end of a man at the end of an era, at the eve of the eventual demise of his species. The cruel and joyous energy of the fifties and sixties gradually dissolve into the great confusion of today.
