Josse De Pauw never ceases to astonish us with his artistic versatility. He is not only a well-known and original man of the theatre and cinema, whom audiences at the Théâtre National will discover or re-discover in several productions this season, but also a gifted and renowned writer. This will be apparent when he reads on our stage, for the first time in French, extracts from his autobiographic book: Work, which has enjoyed a lively critical success since its publication in Flanders in 2000. A collection of notes, thoughts, fragments from diaries and other pieces in which emotions can be found, but without ever forcing them on the reader.
