Exciting scenes from new plays written by area playwrights. In Their Own Words, The Baltimore Playwrights Festival Presents a Free Fall Performance on October 27th, 2021 at 8 p.m., Fells Point Corner Theatre. Selections will include:A writer whose emotions suddenly manifest as living beingsA job interview at a prestigious girls school with undercurrents of tragedyA comedy based on the true story of a famous painting stolen from a Baltimore homeAn epiphany in Haiti for a disillusioned Christian missionary from Maryland.and four more outstanding excerpts from the 2021 season's submissions.Please join us as directors and actors present scenes from new plays by area playwrights in a book-in-hand staged reading format. The readings will be rehearsed, have movement, lighting, props and costuming. COVID Protocols: For your safety, all patrons will be required to show proof of full vaccination or a negative test within 72 hours to gain entry.
