When Christmas rolls around each year, Santa Claus begins making appearances everywhere. At one time, the only chance children had to talk to Santa and tell him what they wanted for Christmas was by visiting him at one of the local shopping malls. Today, Santa's schedule has him showing up in a lot more places as the demand for his time has increased over the years.

For ten years, Santa has always made it a point to stop by The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre and Children's Theatre to have breakfast with children and their families at what has become the most popular event at the Frederick theater. What makes the breakfast event so special is that Santa Claus is not the only North Pole resident the children get to meet and spend time with, but Mrs. Claus and the elves from Santa's Workshop come along for the fun as well.

There will be two breakfasts for the 2012 holiday season. The first will be this morning, December 23rd beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the second on Christmas Eve morning, Monday, December 24th beginning at 10:00 a.m. Tickets are priced at $17 per person. In the past, tickets have sold out within only a few weeks of going on sale.

Way Off Broadway's 2012 BREAKFAST WITH SANTA (AND MRS. CLAUS) marks the 10th anniversary of the event, which became so popular that it kicked off an entire Breakfast Series at the theater that now also includes an annual Princess Breakfast.

"BREAKFAST WITH SANTA (AND MRS. CLAUS) is the holiday event of the season, says Deb Kiska, Way Off Broadway's General Manager and the creator of the Breakfast Series, "There's nothing like seeing the children's faces light up when Santa and Mrs. Claus appear. And as a mother and grandmother, I know how good I always felt when I saw my children having so much fun. So this breakfast isn't just for the kids. It's for the entire family."

Tickets may be purchased by calling the Box Office at (301) 662-6600.
