The Way Off Broadway Children's Theatre opened its 2011 Season with Disney's 101 Dalmatians Kids on Saturday, January 29th. This marked the first time a Disney production was ever produced at Way Off Broadway and has already become one of the best selling shows at the theatre. Through the rest of 101 Dalmatians' run, Way Off Broadway has teamed up with the Frederick County Animal Control Center for a "Doggie Adoption Promotion."

During the run of the show, anyone that adopts a dog from the center will receive free tickets to see Way Off Broadway's production of Disney's 101 Dalmatians.

101 Dalmatians comes straight from the Disney vaults. In a loving home in the city of London, Dalmatian parents, Pongo and Perdita happily raise their Dalmatian puppies, until the monstrous Cruella De Vil plots to steal them for her new fur coat! Join all the spotted dogs, as they daringly rescue the puppies from Cruella and her bumbling henchmen. Way Off Broadway and Disney finally meet in this show that is fun for the entire family.

"We thought it was a natural fit to team up with the Animal Control Center," says Justin M. Kiska, Way Off Broadway's President and Managing Director. "101 Dalmatians is all about puppies needing a good home and while everything turns out for the best on stage, we wanted to do something to help all of the dogs looking for homes in Frederick."

The Frederick Animal Control Center is located at 1832 Rosemont Avenue, Frederick, Maryland. The center is open Monday, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 10:00 - 5:00; Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 - 8:00; and Saturdays from 10:00 - 4:00. More information can be found at www.petfinder.com.

Way Off Broadway's production of Disney's 101 Dalmatians Kids runs January 29 - March 19, 2011, and is directed by Susan Thornton with musical direction by Jordan Stocksdale

Children's Theatre performances are every Saturday afternoon and the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, as well as select added weekday performances throughout the run.
