Vagabond Players to Ring in New Year with OUR TOWN
The Vagabond Players continues its 100th season with Thornton Wilder's Our Town, opening January 8, 2016, and running through February 7. This Pulitzer Prize winning drama celebrates the marvel of everyday existence and the "something way down deep that's eternal about every human being."
Director Eric C. Stein has assembled an amazing cast, led by Josh Shoemaker, Ryan Gunning and William Meister, to tell this very simple, funny, and heart-warming story. It has been lauded as "... probably the finest play ever written by an American" by Edward Albee and the New York Daily News wrote: "No American play describes more powerfully how we imagine ourselves." This is a must-see production for every age.
Located at 806 S. Broadway, the Vagabond Theatre is easily accessible to patrons.
Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8:00; Sunday at 2:00
Tickets can be purchased online at www.vagabondplayers.org or at the door ($10-$20); special rates for groups available on line. Friday night performances feature special pricing $15 for everyone. Plus, there is a $10 Thursdays on Broadway! performance on February 4th.
