'Art', the Tony award winning comedy written Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton, opens The Vagabond Players 99th Season on September 5, and runs through September 28. This witty contemporary play is directed by Howard Berkowitz.

The friendship among three men is turned upside down when one of them purchases an expensive piece of art. The disagreement over the merits of the painting all but comes to blows as each man finds his own vision of good art does not match with either of the others'. The ensuing debate is all-out funny. The outstanding cast of veteran actors Mark Scharf, Steven Shriner and Eric C. Stein shines in this explosively smart and hilarious production.

Located at 806 S. Broadway, the Vagabond Theatre is easily accessible to patrons.
