The Bad Oracle Announces The Baltimore United Local Stage and Hidden Independent Theater Awards

The Bad Oracle, a Baltimore based theater review website, announces the 2016 Baltimore United Local Stage and Hidden Independent Theater (B.U.L.S.H.I.T.) Awards. The B.U.L.S.H.I.T. Awards exist to shine a light on the work of "small" theater artists in Baltimore, Maryland. The winners will be announced on Monday, April 3rd during an award show at St. Mary's Community Center in the Hampden neighborhood. This year marks the fourth annual B.U.L.S.H.I.T. Awards.

New this year are the "On Two" Award for Best Musical Direction and the "Arm and Hammer" Award for best pit orchestra. Also new is the "Firebrand" Award for an individual or group shaping the Baltimore theater community for the better.

Tickets are now on sale. All proceeds from the ticket sales of the event go toward The Actors Need a Living (A.N.A.L.) Fund to support actor stipends for small theaters in Baltimore.

About The Actors Need a Living (A.N.A.L.) Fund

The Actors Need a Living (A.N.A.L.) Fund was created as a response to concerns that small theaters often cannot afford to pay their actors, ANAL Awards are given yearly to support actor stipends in small, non-profit theaters in Baltimore city.
