THE PILLOWMAN Opens At Vagabond Players
The Vagabond Players continue their 102nd season with THE PILLOWMAN written by Academy Award nominee Martin McDonagh (Three Billboards Outside Ebbing Missouri) and directed by Eric C. Stein. A writer of macabre short stories becomes the focus of a police interrogation when his tales are linked to a series of actual child murders. The result is an urgent work of theatrical bravura and an unflinching examination of the very nature and purpose of art. Don't miss the story the New York Times called "Energizing...a blindingly bright black comedy...an unsettling and exhilarating new play."
THE PILLOWMAN opens Friday, Feb. 23 and runs through Sunday, March 18. Special $10 Thursday performance March 15 at 8 p.m.
RECOMMENDED FOR MATURE AUDIENCES.
