Spotlighters Theatre announces - Auditions for PARTITION by Ira Hauptman directed by John Sadowsky Tuesday, November 11, 2009 - 7:30pm Wednesday, November 12, 2009 - 7:30pm

Spotlighters Theater, 817 St. Paul Street, Baltimore, MD 21202,

This play is a drama about the relationship between the mathematicians G. H. Hardy and S. Ramanujan in Cambridge
in the early twentieth century.

The role of Billington has been cast.

The roles that are open are:
G. H. Hardy (male, mid 30's to 40's, athletic. Requires a British, R.P. accent)
S. Ramanujan (male, mid 20's, South Asian. Requires a Southern Indian accent)
Namagiri (female, ageless, beautiful---a Hindu goddess, literally. Requires a Southern Indian accent)
Pierre de Fermat (male, 50's or so. Requires a French accent)
All of the mortals in the play are based on historic characters.

Auditions require a monologue (roughly 2 minutes, any type) and will include cold readings from the script.
