Pumpkin Theatre is pleased to announce the 46th Season - Discovering New Friendships through Familiar Tales. The upcoming season will also mark the beginning of its new home at Har Sinai Congregation, 2905 Walnut Ave, Owings Mills 21117. The 46th Season is as follows:

The Elves and the Shoemaker - Best. Shoes. Ever

Harold and Maude are poor cobblers in a small town trying to make ends meet. Mayor Killjoy is their landlord and has other plans for their little shoe shop. How will Lady Everkind save the shabby little shack? Five extraordinary elves perform magic in the night and help set things right.

Young Playwrights Festival

Part of our "Kids for Kids" series is a partnership with CENTERSTAGE's Young Playwrights Festival; a program that features plays written by children, for children, and performed and designed by the Pumpkin artistic staff. This year's plays feature, The True Story of How The Chicken Crossed the Road by Kendall Archer (6th grade), Brightly and Jade, a story of Friendship and Bravery by Phoebe Taylor (1st grade) and more.

The Princess and the Pea

A mysterious young woman must prove to a skeptical King and Queen that she is a princess of royal blood. She must pass three tests involving ghosts, gold and, of course, a pea. Will the evil court attendant foil her plans to marry the Prince? Or will Prince Erik's magic troll have the last laugh and set things right?

Seussical Jr.

Part of our "Kids for Kids" series, this show will feature actors 5 to 17 years of age working with Pumpkin Artists to present a Main Stage Production. Follow the musical adventure of Horton, an elephant who one day hears voices coming from a speck of dust and spends the rest of his days protecting his new friends from WhoVille. The Cat in the Hat, Maisy, Getrude McDuck, The Wickersham Brothers, Jo Jo and more all join in on this mash up of Dr Seuss' favorite tales.

Jack and the Beanstalk - The Story of Jack and Daisy

Jack and Daisy love playing hide and seek, but now that his father is gone and so is all their money, Jack is sent to sell Daisy at the market. A mysterious man gives Jack magic beans that take him on a musical journey filled with gold and adventures! How will Jack and Daisy outsmart the Giant and his wife? Courage, luck and hide and seek make all the difference.

Peter Pan and Wendy

Wendy Darling is a girl on the verge of becoming a young lady and like Peter Pan is having trouble growing up; wishing to stay a child forever. Smee, Captain Hook and of course Tinker Bell join this musical cast in a new telling of this famous tale of adventures in Neverland.

On July 1st, regular 5, 4, and 3 play subscriptions, individual advance tickets, and group tickets will go on sale. Please note with all subscription package you must purchase a set 'series' but have until 24 hours before a performance to do any exchanges for a different date/time.
