Red Branch Theatre Company Presents HANSEL AND GRETEL 12/9-12

Red Branch Theatre Company is pleased to present Hansel & Gretel, with performances for one week-end only, December 9-12. This "fairy-tale opera" is the G. Schirmer opera score version of Humperdinck's Hansel and Gretel, and the piece will be entirely sung in English. Jennifer Spieler is the Director and Christopher Correlli is the Music Director.

Plenty of holiday events and surprises will be offered in conjunction with the shows. A food drive to benefit the Maryland Food Bank is already underway and will continue through December 13th. For each non-perishable food item donated, one coupon good for $2 off a Hansel and Gretel ticket will be received. One coupon per ticket may be used, with a maximum of two coupons per reservation. There will also be a Santa Sighting, Educator Appreciation Night, and Family 4-pack offer.

In addition, "Drop-while-you-shop," Red Branch's popular Parents' Night Out PJ Parties will be offered Friday, 12/10 and Sat. 12/11. PJ party times are 7-11 pm on Friday and Saturday as well as 1:30-5:30 on Saturday. Parents may also drop kids off from 1:30 - 11:00 pm to see both the matinee and evening performances on Sat., Dec. 11. This is a great opportunity for parents to finish their holiday shopping while the Drama Learning Center Staff entertains children with crafts and games, after they have watched a performance of Hansel & Gretel.
