Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street opens October 8 and runs through November 7 at the Vagabond Players in Historic Fells Point.

With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Hugh Wheeler this musical thriller is perfect for the bewitching month of October. Stories of heart wrenching horror, ghoulish revenge, and pure, innocent love intertwine with sensational music. Lead by talented actors, Edward J. Peters and Liz Boyer Hunnicutt, the cast of twenty-two does justice to the music and words that will plunge the audience into horror then lift it to the lyrical. Runs weekends: Fri./Sat. at 8:00; Sunday at 2:00, 806 S. Broadway.
