This weekend is the last chance to see the critically acclaimed production of Next to Normal at Vagabond Players. Audiences have been awed by the emotional impact of the ground breaking musical by Brian Yorkey and Tom Kitt.

Eric Potter directs this stunning production that focuses on a family torn apart by the effects of mental illness. The pop rock score is handled deftly by the voices of a stellar cast: Shannon Wollman, Darren McDonnell, Tom Burns, Chris Jehnert, Julia Capizzi, and Jim Baxter. Douglas Lawler provides poignant music direction. Next to Normal is devastatingly realistic; it touches the lives of all who have dealt with mental illness themselves or with loved ones. Due to subject matter and language, it is recommended for mature audiences only.

Vagabond Players, America’s Oldest Continuously Operating Little Theatre, is located in historic Fells Point at 806 S. Broadway Next to Normal runs this Friday and Saturday, at 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm Tickets are $22; $20 for seniors/students; with a special $14 Student price for Friday night performances.
