Mcdaniel College students perform Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" to benefit women's charities

"The Vagina Monologues" at McDaniel is in association with V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women and girls

Performances are Friday, Feb. 23, and Saturday, Feb. 24, at 7:30 p.m., in WMC Alumni Hall at McDaniel College

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, seniors (over 60), active military members and veterans, as well as those with a McDaniel College ID, with all proceeds benefiting Rape Crisis Intervention Services of Carroll County, Family and Children's Services of Central Maryland and the One Billion Rising Foundation

McDaniel College students perform Eve Ensler's iconic play "The Vagina Monologues" in association with V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. The performance at McDaniel is directed by senior Megan Smith of Federalsburg, Md.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students, seniors (over 60), active military members and veterans, as well as those with a McDaniel College ID. All proceeds benefit Rape Crisis Intervention Services of Carroll County, Family and Children's Services of Central Maryland and the One Billion Rising Foundation. For tickets, call 410-857-2530.

"The Vagina Monologues" is an award-winning play based on playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace, the piece celebrates women's sexuality and strength. The performance is in association with V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women and girls (www.vday.org). This is the 15th year that the play has been performed at McDaniel.
