Fells Point Corner Theatre Seeks Submissions for 10-Minute Play Festival 10x10

By:

Fells Point Corner Theatre is seeking ten 10-minute, original plays written by playwrights in the Baltimore area to be considered for production in May 2016 as part of our critically acclaimed 10-minute play festival 10x10.

This annual festival began in the Spring of 2012 and enjoyed three continuous years of producing ten-minute plays ranging from comedies, dramas, sci-fi, horror; from the real to the surreal and back again! After a year off, FPCT is proud to bring this festival back by popular demand for our 2015-2016 Season: Fire in the House!

This year, an additional "x10" has been snuck into the title, hinting at the bonus opportunity this year's festival will hold for local playwrights. In addition to your play being considered for a world premiere production and given a director, a cast, a crew, and a group of dedicated designers to bring your words to life, you will also have an opportunity to WIN...WIN x10.

CASH PRIZES! The top three plays, by the accumulation of audience votes, will be award cash prizes with 1st, place receiving $150.00! That's 10 times the price of admission! See festival rules and guidelines below for more information.

The 10 selected plays will open on Friday, May 27 and run through Sunday, June 12. They will be performed in our second floor Sokal Theatre at 251 S. Ann Street. Performances will be held on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings @ 8:00pm and Sunday afternoons at 2:00pm. General admission tickets will be sold for $15 for all performances.
