Everyman Theatre, Baltimore's only resident professional theatre, will welcome Jonathan K. Waller as its new Marketing Director. Mr. Waller joins Everyman as it prepares for its historic move and inaugural season in its new theatre on Fayette Street.

A native of Westminster, Maryland, Mr. Waller joins Everyman from New York City, where he most recently served as Director of External Affairs for the Tony Award-winning Vineyard Theatre.  The Vineyard is one of the nation´s leading non-profit theatre companies dedicated to new plays and musicals.  It consistently premieres provocative, groundbreaking works including the Pulitzer Prize-winning productions Three Tall Women by Edward Albee and Paula Vogel's How I Learned To Drive, as well as Broadway's Avenue QThe Scottsboro Boys and Nicky Silver's The Lyons starring Linda Lavin, which is currently running on Broadway.

Mr. Waller is a graduate of New York University, where he graduated Cum Laude, and McDonogh School, in Owings Mills. He is also a composer/lyricist whose credits include The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley and the upcoming A Superhero, which will receive a production at McDonogh School in April 2013. He currently lives in Westminster, MD with his wife Rachel and two-year-old daughter, Grace.

"It is such an honor to be joining Everyman at this juncture," says Mr. Waller. "As one patron said, 'To know Everyman is to love Everyman.' I look forward to finding creative ways to continue building Everyman's fiercely loyal audience as we make our transition to our new home downtown."

"Jonathan is a fantastic addition to the Everyman Theatre team," says Founding Artistic Director Vincent Lancisi. "His background in marketing at Vineyard Theatre in New York honed his skills in branding, social media, and data mining. He really gets the Everyman culture and will propel the organization to the next level as we move to our new theatre."

Everyman Theatre is a professional Equity theatre company celebrating the actor, with the resident company of artists from the Baltimore/DC area.  Seeking connection and emotional truth in performance, Everyman Theatre was founded in 1990 by Vincent Lancisi.  The theatre is dedicated to engaging the audience through a shared experience between actor and patron and to presenting high quality plays that are affordable and accessible to everyone.

Vincent Lancisi is the Founder and Artistic Director of Everyman Theatre; Ian Tresselt is the Managing Director.
