DLC Summer Stage Announces Auditions For THE PRODUCERS 5/24

DLC Summer Stage has announced auditions for the Mel Brooks' Musical, The Producers, directed by Robin Schwartz.

Audition Dates - Auditions May 24 from 7-10 pm (advance registration required).

Show Dates - August 5-August 14

Both auditions and callbacks are being held at 9130 Red Branch Road, suite F

Required - 16-32 bars of an up-tempo song, sheet music for accompanist, come prepared to dance, bring list of summer conflicts, and be prepared to stay for about 1 hour.

Synopsis - The Producers tells the story of a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer, Max Bialystock, and a nerdy, young accountant, Leo Bloom, who concoct a scheme to raise thousands of dollars from backers and then put on a flop of a show. With all the money that will be leftover, the pair will be rich! Only one thing goes wrong: the show is a gigantic hit!
