As the recipient of a Chairman's Extraordinary Action Award from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), CENTERSTAGE will provide free access to a live-streamed simulcast of ReEntry on December 16, 2010, 7 pm EST.

To participate, viewers will link to the live performance via a regular internet "url." It does not require any special permissions or software; military bases, hospitals, and support organizations from all over the country-and the world-will be watching the simulcast. Locations range from Australia and San Diego to the Pentagon. Bases and organizations wishing to participate should contact David Henderson at dhenderson@centerstage.org for more information.

ReEntry by Emily Ackerman and KJ Sanchez is a surprising and acclaimed new play, based on interviews with veterans and their families, which puts aside politics and Hollywood alike to probe the unvarnished, and powerfully personal, truths of those who serve and sacrifice. How do you shift seamlessly from battlefields to backyard barbecues? What is the price paid by families at home when husbands, mothers, sons, and sisters go to war?

The play has been presented at the 2010 NC COSC conference "Taking Action, Measuring Results" in San Diego, California, Marine Corps Base Quantico, Department of Veterans Affairs and VISN 3, and Mental Health Service Line & PTSD Consortium conference: "The Burden of War: Challenges and Opportunities in Treating OEF/OIF Veterans with PTSD."

ReEntry runs through Sunday, December 19. Tickets are on sale through the Box Office, 410.332.0033, or online at www.centerstage.org. ReEntry is presented in partnership with Northrop Grumman, Stephanie and Ashton Carter, and SenovvA. The media partner is WYPR, and the community partner is the USO of Metropolitan Washington.
