Casting Announced For CURIOUS GEORGE: THE GOLDEN MEATBALL

Red Branch Theatre Company (RBTC) presents a family theatre offering Curious George: The Golden Meatball this December. The musical play is based on the books by Margaret and H.A. Rey and features the protagonist of the hit PBS Kids animated program. Casting has just been completed for the production that will run at Drama Learning Center, where Red Branch is the professional theatre in residence, from December 14-22.

Curious George: The Golden Meatball follows the inquisitive and lovable monkey through an adventure of epic proportions. When All-You-Can-Eat Meatball Day is foiled, George enters his friend Chef Pisghetti in the Golden Meatball contest in Rome, Italy.

This production marks the first time that a local regional theatre has produced Madagascar - a Musical Adventure. Red Branch produces a family-friendly production every December, and Madagascar continues in that tradition. Many special events will be held in conjunction with the production to encourage families to participate in live performing arts together.

Curious George: The Golden Meatball is presented with permission through special arrangement with Music Theatre International.
