Just yesterday, Tony-winning star Jessie Mueller and Grammy-nominated composer/lyricist Sara Bareilles and the cast of WAITRESS stopped by Manhattan's Upper East Side Barnes & Noble (150 E. 86th Street) , to celebrate the release of the show's cast album. The company not only performed songs from the show, but signed CDs for fans, and you can check out photos from the special day below!

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will soon present Mike Bartlett's (King Charles III) new play, Love, Love Love, directed by Michael Mayer. The cast includes Richard Armitage (The Hobbit), Alex Hurt (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof), Zoe Kazan (The Seagull), Ben Rosenfield ('Boardwalk Empire') and two-time Tony nominee Amy Ryan ('The Office,' A Streetcar Named Desire). The production is part of Roundabout's 50th Anniversary Season.

As BroadwayWorld reported earlier this week, star of stage and screen  Fyvush Finkel just passed away at 93 years of age. Fyvush Finkel began his career over 80 years ago playing the numerous Jewish theatres along Second Avenue. When he was 43 he began touring in FIDDLER ON THE ROOF playing the Innkeeper, then the Butcher and eventually Tevye.

As BroadwayWorld reported yesterday, opera star Patrice Munsel, died last Thursday in her New York Adirondacks home after a brief illness. She was 91.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts will feature a special three-month pop-up TKTS residency at the David Rubenstein Atrium's Zucker Box Office. The partnership with Theatre Development Fund, the nonprofit service organization for the performing arts which operates the TKTS Discount Booths, gives more New Yorkers the opportunity to purchase discount tickets, and to have access to the wonderful range of performing arts available in New York.

Lincoln Center Theater's new production of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos will begin previews Thursday, September 29, and run for 14 weeks only at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 West 48 Street). Opening night will be Thursday, October 27. The company will include Anthony Rosenthal (as Jason), Tracie Thoms(as Dr. Charlotte), Brandon Uranowitz (as Mendel), Betsy Wolfe (as Cordelia), Stephanie J. Block(as Trina), Christian Borle (as Marvin), and Andrew Rannells (as Whizzer).

Based upon the 2007 motion picture written by Adrienne Shelly, Waitress began performances on March 25 and opened April 24 at Broadway's Brooks Atkinson Theatre (256 West 47th Street).
