Tony Award nominee Brandon Uranowitz makes his Feinstein's/54 Below solo debut, February 8-11. Fresh off his acclaimed turn as Mendel in the Broadway revival of Falsettos, Uranowitz gets up close and personal with audiences while sharing songs by the one-and-only Tony Award-winning William Finn.

The New Group presents the world premiere of All the Fine Boys, a new play from writer and director Erica Schmidt, featuring Abigail Breslin, Isabelle Fuhrman, Joe Tippett and Alex Wolff. Previews begin February 14 in advance of Official Opening Night on Wednesday, March 1. A limited Off-Broadway engagement plays through March 26 at The Pershing Square Signature Center (Ford Foundation Studio Theatre, 480 West 42nd Street).

ANASTASIA will begin previews on March 23, 2017 and open on Broadway on April 24, 2017 at the Broadhurst Theatre (235 West 44th Street). Starring Christy Altomare, Derek Klena, John Bolton, Ramin Karimloo, Caroline O'Connor, and Mary Beth Peil, the musical features a book by celebrated playwright Terrence McNally and a lush, original score by Tony Award winners Stephen Flaherty (music) and Lynn Ahrens (lyrics). Tony Award-winning director Darko Tresnjak directs.

Rehearsals are underway for the Tooting Arts Club production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Hugh Wheeler from an adaptation by Christopher Bond, directed by Bill Buckhurst. The production begins performances on February 14, 2017 and officially opens on March 1, 2017 at the Barrow Street Theatre (27 Barrow Street). Tickets are now on sale through August 13, 2017.

Stage and screen stars Ari Graynor, Stefania LaVie Owen, Justice Smith and Lucas Hedges lead the American premiere of Yen, Anna Jordan's Bruntwood Prize-winning play, directed by MCC alum Trip Cullman. YEN opened just last night, at the Lucille Lortel Theatre (121 Christopher Street), where it runs through February 19, 2017.

As BroadwayWorld sadly reported last week, Tony Award winner Mary Tyler Moore - best known as a television icon for The Mary Tyler Moore Show- passed away at 80 years old. According to her publicist, she was with her husband and friends at the time of her passing.

Mel B has graced Times Square in a brand new billboard for CHICAGO! She will continue to spice up Broadway through February 19 at the Ambassador Theatre (219 W. 49th St., NYC). 

Roundabout Theatre Company will soon present Steven Levenson's (The Unavoidable Disappearance of Tom Durnin; Dear Evan Hansen) new play, If I Forget, directed by Daniel Sullivan. The cast includes Larry Bryggman (Picnic), Maria Dizzia ('Orange is the New Black'), Tasha Lawrence (Good People), Jeremy Shamos (Noises Off), Seth Steinberg, Kate Walsh ('Grey's Anatomy'), and Gary Wilmes (Irrational Man). 

As BroadwayWorld sadly reported last week, veteran British screen actor, Sir John Hurt, has passed away at aged 77. His diverse career included turns on screen on film, television, as well as voice acting.

For over 25 years, stars of stage and screen have come out to bowl in support of Second Stage's award-winning seasons and to assist the theatre in its fund-raising efforts at its annual All-Star Bowling Classic. INDECENT - Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel's newest work, one of the most acclaimed plays of 2016 when it debuted in New York Off-Broadway at the Vineyard Theatre - will premiere on Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 W 48th St New York, NY), this spring, with previews set to begin early April prior to opening April 18, it has been announced by producers Daryl Roth, Elizabeth Ireland McCann and Cody Lassen, who will present the Vineyard Theatre production in association with La Jolla Playhouse and Yale Repertory Theatre. AMELIE, A NEW MUSICAL will begin performances on Broadway on Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Walter Kerr Theatre (219 W 48th Street) and officially open Monday, April 3, 2017. Directed by Tony Award winner Pam Mackinnon (Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?), AMELIE features a book by Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award nominee Craig Lucas (The Light in the Piazza), music by Daniel Messe and lyrics by Nathan Tysen & Messe, and musical staging and choreography by Sam Pinkleton.

As previously announced, Sunday in the Park with George will re-open the historic Hudson Theatre (139-141 West 44th Street) on Broadway this winter for a strictly limited 10-week engagement. Directed by Sarna Lapine, performances are set to begin Saturday, February 11, 2017, ahead of a Thursday, February 23rd Opening Night, and will play through Sunday, April 23rd.
