For Summer 2013, powered by the premiere of “Teen Beach Movie” and top series rankings across major youth demos, Disney Channel ranked as TV's #1 network in Total Day for the 8th consecutive summer in Tweens 9-14 (655,000/2.8 rating), the 5th consecutive summer in Kids 6-11 (762,000/3.2 rating) and 2nd consecutive summer in Kids 2-11 (1.06 million/2.7 rating), and was the #1 cable TV network for the 2nd summer in a row in Total Viewers (1.90 million).

During Summer 2013, powered by its largest array of original series in the network's history, ABC Family ranked as cable TV's #1 network in Prime for the 2nd consecutive summer in Women 18-34 (282,000), placed a solid #2 in Females 12-34 (444,000) and was a Top 5 contender in Women 18-49 (#4 – 434,000) and Viewers 12-34 (#5 – 576,000).

'I Have a Dream' -- four words that helped change the course of American history. ABC News and Yahoo! News will host a first-ever live global broadcast on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 28 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's March on Washington and his iconic 'I Have a Dream' speech. This hybrid digital-television event will be anchored by George Stephanopoulos along with Dan Kloeffler from ABC News World Headquarters in New York beginning at 11:00 a.m., ET.

The episode, titled 'The Quarterback,' will feature appearances by Mark Salling, Amber Riley, Harry Shum Jr., Jayma Mays, Mike O'Malley, Dot-Marie Jones, and Romy Rosemont. E! has confirmed that Dianna Agron and Heather Morris are not expected to appear.

Bay Street Theatre announced its HarborFest Weekend events will be the showing of GENE KELLY classics on the big screen Sept. 6 and 7. They are the kick off to the fall lineup of The Picture Show, sponsored by Peconic Landing. AN AMERICAN IN PARIS will be showing on Friday, Sept. 6 and FOR ME AND MY GAL on Saturday Sept. 7. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the original 'Peter Parker' in Broadway's SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK has landed a series regular role in the John Logan-Sam Mendes drama PENNY DREAFUL. Carney will Exit SPIDER-MAN on Sept. 15 in order to begin filming later this fall.

Jackson joins Ruth Wilson for the project, who will play the role of Alison, a young married woman, working in a pancake house, trying to piece her life back together in the wake of a tragedy. As previously announced, Golden Globe nominee Dominic West (The Wire, The Hours) stars as Noah, a father of four, who makes Ruth question the choices she's made, and wonder whether there's a way to start all over again. Jackson will play Wilson's husband, 'a hard-edged cowboy who manages a ranch on Long Island.'

MSNBC will present special coverage of the 50th Anniversary of the March on Washington on Wednesday, August 28. The day will include live coverage from both Washington, D.C. and New York with Chris Matthews anchoring live from the National Mall throughout the day beginning at 11AM ET. Following President Obama's remarks at approximately 4PM ET, MSNBC will present Dr. Martin Luther King's entire 'I Have a Dream' speech. And, Chris Hayes will host a special “All In” at 8PM ET live from Washington, D.C.

With their four kids in tow, the couple heads to a picturesque lake in Ontario, Canada to put their DIY expertise to good use while renovating a lakeside cottage into their dream vacation home. The series is slated to air on CMT and HGTV in spring 2014.

The top Division I women's basketball programs in the nation will be showcased in a new ESPN Sunday afternoon package, in addition to ESPN2's Big Monday presented by Bud Light series. The five-week series - a first for women's college basketball - will begin February 2. The popular weekly Big Monday series on ESPN2, in its eighth season, will run from January 13 to March 3, including doubleheaders on January 27 and February 10.
