Last night's premiere of the highly anticipated VH1 Original Movie 'CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story' was 'No Scrub' in primetime, scoring as the highest rated telecast on VH1 in over five years.

NBC's Sunday Night Football - Primetime television's #1 show - is averaging 22.7 million viewers, marking the best seven-week start for an NFL Primetime package in 17 years (24.8 million in 1996 for Monday Night Football) and up 5% from last year (21.6 million average).

Executive Producers Martin Scorsese and Dean Devlin announced today that THE WANNABE, a film written and to be directed by Nick Sandow, has added Vincenzo Amato (GOLDEN DOOR), David Zayas (“Dexter,” ANNIE), Neal Huff (MOONRISE KINGDOM), Mike Starr (GOODFELLAS) and Slaine (THE TOWN) to round-out the cast. The film also stars Patricia Arquette (STIGMATA, TRUE ROMANCE, “Boardwalk Empire”), Vincent Piazza (JERSEY BOYS, “Boardwalk Empire”) and Michael Imperioli (“OLDBOY,” “The Sopranos”) and will be produced by Lizzie Nastro (BLUEBIRD) and Michael Gasparro. Electric is fully financing the project and executive producing and distributing the picture along with Traction Media.

Starz has added Lela Loren (Snitch, “Gang Related”), Naturi Naughton (Fame, “The Client List,” “Mad Men”) and Joseph Sikora (Jack Reacher, Safe, “Boardwalk Empire”) to the cast of the upcoming hour-long STARZ Original drama series “Power” executive produced by Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson and created by Courtney Kemp Agboh ('The Good Wife'), who will serve as executive producer and showrunner. Mark Canton (300, 300: Rise of an Empire, Escape Plan), Randall Emmett (End of Watch, 2 Guns,Lone Survivor) and David Knoller (“Big Love,' 'Carnivàle”) serve as executive producers in association with CBS Television Studios.

Today, Showtime announced the renewals of its Emmy and Golden GlobeAward-winning series HOMELAND and the critically-acclaimed drama MASTERS OF SEX for their fourth and second seasons respectively. Both series are set to return in 2014 with 12 one-hour episodes. HOMELAND airs on Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET/PT, followed by MASTERS OF SEX at 10 p.m. ET/PT on SHOWTIME. The announcement was made today by David Nevins, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc.

The film is currently being billed as a realistic comedy, lead by a female James Bond-type. Should the film do well at the box office, the film will reportedly become a franchise.

Ellis will portray Brown's 'longtime friend and musical collaborator' Bobby Byrd in the film, which also stars Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer.

Vulture has revealed that beginning this week, PARKS AND REC will be replaced by an encore episode of THE VOICE, before returning for back-to-back episodes on Nov. 14 and Nov. 21. NBC will then air various sports and holiday specials until the coemdy returns with COMMUNITY in January 2014.

Sources have confirmed to The Wrap that Burton is not only involved with the rumored sequel to his 1988 film, but looking to direct, as well. According to TV Guide, ABC's fairy tale drama will welcome British actor Stephen Lord to its cast for a single episode, in which he will take on the role of The Dark One's father. Lord will appear in a flashback on the Nov. 17 episode.
