The first North American tour of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of THE COLOR PURPLE will launch on October 7, 2017 in Schenectady, New York at Proctors and the tour will have its official opening October 17, 2017 in Baltimore, Maryland at The Hippodrome Theatre. The tour will visit more than 30 cities in its first year on tour.

Riding on the success of Entre Nos: Part 1,comedians Vladimir Caamao,Frankie Quiones and Shayla Rivera will take the stage in the 30-minute stand-up comedy show Entre Nos: Part 2 when it premieres on Friday, October 13 th at 9:30pm EST exclusively on HBO LATINO.

School of Rock The Musical launches its First National Tour in Rochester, NY, at RBTL's Auditorium Theatre on September 30, 2017. With a team that includes Laurence Connor (Director), Rob Colletti (Dewy), Lexie Dorsett Sharp (Rosalie), Theodora Silverman (Katie), Phoenix Schuman (Zack), John Michael Pitera (Billy) and Ava Briglia (Summer), the company of the tour met the press this week in preparation to rock out on the road and we're taking you behind the scenes below!

Andrew Lloyd Webber's Love Never Dies, the spellbinding sequel to The Phantom of the Opera, will make its North American premiere on Wednesday, October 25 in Detroit, MI, following technical rehearsals and performances in Utica, NY (September 22-24, Stanley Theatre) and a special preview engagement in Baltimore's Hippodrome Theatre October 3-8, 2017.

Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director, Todd Schmidt-Managing Director), recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony® Award, has announced casting for the smash hit musical Million Dollar Quartet with book by Colin Escott and Floyd Mutrux, original concept by Mr. Mutrux, inspired by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. Directed by Tony® Award nominee Hunter Foster and with music direction by James Barry, the 8-member ensemble will feature James Barry as Carl Perkins, Alex Boniello as Elvis Presley, Jason Loughlin as Sam Phillips, Scott Moreau as Johnny Cash, David Sonneborn as Fluke, Bligh Voth as Dyanne, Sam Weber as Brother Jay, and Nat Zegree as Jerry Lee Lewis. 

The completely original new musical Something Rotten!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), with music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner and Tony Award nominee Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award and Tony Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Tony Award nominees Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell, launched its National Tour on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the Boston Opera House. 

The acclaimed Fiasco Theater production of INTO THE WOODS will launch a national tour in December at The David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa, FL, following technical rehearsals and tour preview performances at the Thrasher-Horne Center for the Arts in Orange Park, FL. Additional information and complete touring schedule available at www.intothewoodsontour.com.

Deborah Cox and Judson Mills will soon lead the North American tour of THE BODYGUARD, which plays first at Millburn New Jersey's Paper Mill Playhouse. Performances are set to begin Friday, November 25, 2016, for a limited run through Sunday, January 1, 2017, prior to the official national tour opening at the Orpheum Theatre in Minneapolis, MN, on January 10, 2017.

THE KING AND I is hitting the road! Laura Michelle Kelly (Anna Leonowens) and Jose Llana (King of Siam) will lead the national tour of the Lincoln Center Theater production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's THE KING AND I. Joan Almedilla will play Lady Thiang with Brian Rivera as Kralahome, Manna Nichols as Tuptim, Kavin Panmeechao as Lun Tha, Anthony Chan as Prince Chulalongkorn, Graham Montgomery asLouis Leonowens and Baylen Thomas as Captain Orton/Sir Edward Ramsey.

Paper Mill Playhouse, recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, presents Mel Brooks' award-winning musical The Producers, directed by Don Stephenson and choreographed by Bill Burns. The Producers features music and lyrics by Mel Brooks, a book by Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan, and the original Broadway direction and choreography by Susan Stroman.

Finding Neverland, the enchanting Broadway musical set to soar on tour this fall, just began rehearsals under the visionary direction of Tony Award-winnerDiane Paulus. The cast is led by Kevin Kern (Bridges of Madison County, Wicked) and Christine Dwyer (Wicked, Rent), with Tom Hewitt (Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago), Joanna Glushak (A Gentleman's Guide to Love & Murder, After the Night and the Music), Jordan Cole, Finn Faulconer, Ben Krieger, Jacob Morrell, Gregory Trechel, and Mitchell Wray.

The first National Tour of FUN HOME, the groundbreaking, Tony Award-winning Best Musical, will launch in Cleveland, OH at Playhouse Square and will then travel North America playing multi-week and week-long engagements.

Paper Mill Playhouse will soon present its spring musical, Pump Boys and Dinettes, featuring James Barry(Jim), Gabe Bowling (Jackson),Julie Foldesi (Prudie), Jason Ostrowski (L.M.), Alysha Umphress(Rhetta) and Sam Weber (Eddie). Pump Boys and Dinettes is conceived and written by John Foley, Mark Hardwick, Debra Monk, Cass Morgan, John Schimmel and Jim Wann. Pump Boys and Dinettes will be directed by John Foley with choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter. Pump Boys and Dinettes will run eight times a week at the Millburn, New Jersey, theater from April 6 through May 1, 2016. The official press opening night is Sunday, April 10, at 7:00pm. Paper Mill Playhouse's world premiere of A BRONX TALE: THE MUSICAL will be co-directed by two-time Oscar winner Robert De Niro and four-time Tony Award winner Jerry Zaks, with choreography by four-time Drama Desk Award nominee Sergio Trujillo. A BRONX TALE: THE MUSICAL features a book by Chazz Palminteri, music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Glenn Slater.
