Susan Guntly has been involved with the performing arts in Kansas for most of her existence. From her first community center acting class, where she played a donut loving alien named Achoo, to producing and directing a selection of Greek, Absurdist and contemporary shows with a group of friends called The Obstreperous Players decades later. As a teen, she apprenticed at Music Theatre of Wichita, later received a Bachelor’s of Performing Arts from Wichita State University, and after had the privilege to perform at most of the local theatres. With her unique perspective and history in the community, she’s excited to share one of her other passions, writing, and celebrate the talent and artistry that thrives in the Wichita area.
