This whole process has made me realize just how important it is to really expand your own understanding and to work in a sort of multi-disciplinary way.
Like any job, it truly is what you make of it, but working in a theatrical environment while in school is a great way to gain experience, earn money, and learn while you work
I thrive on staying busy, and despite the busy schedule with theatre, work, and school, I manage it all with careful planning, making sure to take time to relax, and having an incredible support system of friends and family.
To know and understand what an intent is and where it came from in terms of the work we surround ourselves with, makes the piece truly come alive and allows us to tell dynamic and compelling stories.
The people I have been lucky enough to meet through this program have changed my view on art as well as what it means to be a leader in a theatrical setting.
