In this two-character play, 'Maris and Joseph have made their beds and now have to lie in them. Two people connected by illness, loneliness, and the need to be understood, they navigate the murky waters of subjective truth. If you believe it, can you make it true?' The production was directed by Rising Phoenix Rep artistic director Daniel Talbott.

Carnival is a hilarious, bizarre, and poignant story of the meaning of death, of dying with dignity, and the ancient dilemma of living for a life after death. Mercer County Community College Presents BOY'S LIFE ,11/19-21November 8, 2010Comedy, drama and dance are all on the upcoming performance schedule for Theatre and Dance students at Mercer County Community College. In their first production of the fall semester, students will perform Howard Korder's Pulitzer Prize-nominated play, BOY'S LIFE. This heterosexual coming-of-age black comedy will be performed Friday, Nov. 19 at 8 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 20 at 2 and 8 p.m., and Sunday, Nov. 21 at 2 p.m. at MCCC's Studio Theatre, located next to Kelsey Theatre on the West Windsor Campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.

Registration Begins For HCCA Winter Arts Programs Today, 11/08November 8, 2010Registration has begun for the Howard County Arts Council's visual and performing arts winter programs at the Howard County Center for the Arts (HCCA) in Ellicott City. The Arts Council offers classes and workshops for children, teens, and adults. Winter art educational programs begin January 25, 2011. Classes run for up to eight weeks through March 26.
