Born in D.C., S.E. Barcus is a lifelong pianist and theater artist, trained at NYU, with the added, unique perspective as a neurologist, trained at MUSC and Case Western. They've been writing theater and classical music reviews since 1998, when they first covered Spoleto USA, and now reside in the Pacific Northwest.

SLAM! - Contemporary circus is growing increasingly theatrical and complex every year. SLAM! was the most fun I've had yet with contemporary circus -- and that includes several Cirque de Soleil shows! (No small task.)
Together Again, Again - My fam has loved Jinkx Monsoon since celebrating her at Julia's in Seattle during her Ru Paul season 5 victory. And that was just the "3-2-1, blast off!"
