It was announced this week that pop singer and Broadway star Carly Rae Jepsen would be joining the upcoming TV event, GREASE: LIVE!

Composer Andrew Lloyd Webber visited the rehearsals of Love Never Dies, or Liebe Stirbt Nie, in Hamburg. Liebe Stirbt Nie opens on October 15, 2015 at the Operettenhaus. Webber joined the cast and crew for two days in the rehearsal room and they couldn't have been more excited to have him there. 

Brian Friel, Tony Award winning Playwright, has passed away at age 86 according to the Irish Times. Friel is known for his work in the plays Dancing At Lughnasa and Philadelphia, Here I Come!

Hamilton star Phillipa Soo, alongisde Broadway veteran Steven Pasquale, recently took a trip to Graham Windham. The trip brightened the days of numerous children and was actually inspired by Phillipa Soo's character in Hamilton, Eliza Schuyler Hamilton.

IF/THEN was a new musical that hinged on Idina Menzel's star power and the amazing ensemble. When it opened on Broadway in 2014 it was one of the most buzzed about new musicals. Now, If/Then is taking that formula on the road in the first national tour, but according to an article published in Denver Centerstage, the tour might not have happened without leading lady Idina Menzel.
