I truly appreciate that the Arvada Center gives rebirth and a newly found appreciation to these sometimes forgotten classics and hope that they continue this tradition in the future.

The songs are hilariously campy and the show is bursting with farce, fun and blood!

From the opening number, this show envelopes you in a glittery hug with its energy and will have you dancing in the aisles by the end!

Unfortunately, while the actors sang their hearts out in memorable moments, due to several glaring technical errors, the show never reached its full potential.

As a 37 year-old, Gen-X kid, this story completely spoke to me and I could not get enough of this amazing show.

This show, with its creative design and wonderful cast was the perfect entertainment for the summer and a great night for family!

The Edge Theatre Company is proud to present John Guare's THE HOUSE OF THE BLUE LEAVES, playing now through August 11th. Artie Shaunessy is a songwriter with visions of glory. Toiling by day as a zookeeper, he suffers in seedy lounges by night, plying his wares at piano bars in Queens, New York, where he lives with his wife Bananas. Artie's downstairs mistress, Bunny Flingus will sleep with him anytime but will refuse to cook for him until they are married. On the day the Pope is making his first visit to the city, Artie's son Ronnie goes AWOL from the Fort Dix, stowing a home-made bomb intended to blow up the Pope in Yankee Stadium. Also arriving is Artie's old school chum, now a successful Hollywood producer, Billy Einhorn with starlet girlfriend in tow, who holds the key to Artie's dreams of getting out of Queens and away from the life he so despises. But like so many dreams, this promise of glory evaporates amid the chaos of ordinary lives.

This classic, big Broadway musical did not disappoint with its big cast, big sets, and bigger voices!

Planet Zolbott had a really good foundation, unfortunately the transformation from page to stage failed to deliver at times.

It gives me great pleasure to report that this gifted ensemble tickled every gay bone in my body and everyone in the audience absolutely LOVED it!

Even as I write this review, I am tapping my foot, and humming the theme song in my head!

The talented cast and crew of Phamaly made me fall in love with this classic all over again!

I must say that each character had wonderful developmental arch that featured the talents of each actors.

I have to compliment these two stunning actresses on one of the best pairings I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing onstage; elevating this show to an exceptional night of theater!

I was in awe of this talented ensemble and it is their thoughtful consideration of each of their characters that made this show so heartwarming and heartbreaking.
