GLEE-Cap: FunkJune 1, 2010This week on GLEE, everyone at McKinley High is in a funk, from Mr. Schuester finalizing his divorce to Kurt feeling so depressed he wore the same outfit twice in a week. I can sympathize with the characters' feelings; after last week's Gaga disaster, the show had put me into a mood most foul that seemed as if it could not be rectified. While ‘Funk' had some redeeming, even charming, moments, it did nothing to make up for the perplexing episode that preceded it and ultimately left much to be desired.
GLEE-Cap: TheatricalityMay 26, 2010It has arrived, to the joy of Gleeks and Monsters alike - the long-awaited Lady Gaga week on GLEE. ‘Theatricality' opens with Tina and Mr. Schuester in the principal's office; Tina is told she must change her goth look in order to keep the school safe (and to allay Principal Figgin's fear of vampires). This, paired with the news that Vocal Adrenaline is attempting to tackle Lady Gaga in their repertoire, leads Will to give his own Gaga assignment about theatricality in performance.
