According to Variety, Amazon has given a straight-to-series order to a new drama, The Hunt, from executive producer Jordan Peele.

Every story has a resolution. HBO and HBO Latino present the ten final episodes of the original series with the premiere of the fourth season of SR. ÁVILA, on Sunday, July 29.

'Stronger together.' That's what Marisol tells her daughters, firebrand social justice warrior Melanie 'Mel' Vera, and her sister, fun-loving Maggie, about their family. Macy is new in town and doesn't know a soul (except for Galvin, the cute fellow scientist who's been showing her around). Macy is eager to connect with Mel and Maggie, but Mel can't handle another shock, and shuts her out. With the emotions of all three sisters running high, each of the girls suddenly exhibit impossible new abilities: Mel can freeze time, Maggie starts hearing others' thoughts, and Macy has telekinetic powers. But don't worry, there's a perfectly reasonable explanation...or so says HARRY Greenwood (who as far as they know is the officious new chair of the women's studies department), when he gathers the three sisters together to reveal they're actually powerful witches, as was their mother. And he's not really a professor, he's their 'Whitelighter,' a witch's advisor and guide! Not only that, but Mel was right: their mother's death was no accident - she was murdered by unknown dark forces. It's a lot to take in, but ultimately the sisters accept their new destiny as The Charmed Ones...and their new duty to protect humankind from the demons that walk among us...one of whom killed their mother. Disney Channel has ordered a second season of animated comedy-adventure series 'Big City Greens,' about a mischievous and optimistic country boy who moves to the big city with his wildly out of place family, ahead of its series debut, MONDAY, JUNE 18 (9:30 a.m. EDT/PDT), on Disney Channel, DisneyNOW and Disney Channel VOD. The series hails from comic book creators and brothers Chris and Shane Houghton ('Harvey Beaks') and influenced by their childhood growing up in the small rural town of St. Johns, Michigan, with many of the locations and characters inspired by their real-life family members and townsfolk.

The 2018 Brooklyn Film Festival (BFF) is proud to announce that it is hosting a selection of short documentaries from The New York Times' Times Documentaries co-presented with a mix of BFF's animated and experimental films for the opening night program of the festival's 21st edition: THRESHOLD. The event will take place on Friday, June 1st at Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the BFF and the Times Documentaries filmmakers, and will be moderated by Brooklyn Film Festival Executive Director Marco Ursino. According to Deadline, The X-Files star Gillian Anderson is to star in Netflix's sex therapy original Sex Education. Anderson is set to star as a sex therapist in the series, which is produced by British production company Eleven Film.

Netflix has picked up the film Lost Girls. Amy Ryan will star in the true-crime story that is based on Robert Kolker's award-winning book of the same name. It will be directed by Liz Garbus, the Oscar-nominated documentarian who is making her narrative feature debut with the film.

Prop Store – one of the world's leading film and TV memorabilia companies has today announced it is to hold its first cinema poster live auction this June with the posters on offer expected to fetch in excess of £250,000. The auction is to be held at London's ODEON BFI IMAX, Europe's largest cinema chain.

For his debut documentary, QUEST, director Jonathan Olshefski spent nearly a decade chronicling the daily triumphs and tragedies of the Raineys, a working class African-American family in North Philadelphia. The father, Christopher “Quest” Rainey, is a local music producer and promoter who hosts a popular freestyle session for aspiring rappers in his home basement studio; the mother, Christine'a “Ma Quest” Rainey, works night shifts at a homeless shelter; and their spirited adolescent daughter, Patricia “PJ” Rainey, is a daddy's girl who loves to play basketball.

CMT today announced that tickets will go on presale on May 18 and general sale on May 19 for the “2018 CMT Music Awards,” premiering LIVE on Wednesday, June 6 at 8pm ET/PT from Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Hosted byLittle Big Town, the “2018 CMT Music Awards” is country's only entirely fan-voted awards show.  THE SHEEPDOGS--the Canadian-based five-piece guitar-driven rock band--have announced they will be hitting the road this summer on a headlining U.S. tour in support of their recently-released album, CHANGING COLOURS.
