Jeff Dunham will bring his all new "Disorderly Conduct Tour" to Joe Louis Arena on Friday, December 28 at 8 p.m. The worldwide tour will offer fans a brand new show packed with more laughs than ever before and the return of Dunham's famed troupe of sidekicks to include Walter the Grumpy Retiree, Achmed the Dead Terrorist, the beer-fueled redneck Bubba J, the manic purple creature Peanut, the spicy pepper from south of the border Jose Jalapeño, and Peanut's own ventriloquist dummy Little Jeff, a mini-version of the ringmaster himself.

Jeannie Berlin, Robert Foxworth, Justin Long, Robin Weigert and JoBeth Williams are set for Center Theatre Group's production of the Tony-nominated "Other Desert Cities" by Jon Robin Baitz. Robert Egan directs the West Coast premiere, which starts previews on November 28, 2012, opens December 9 and runs through January 6, 2013.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts and STOMP present a live performance for deaf and hard of hearing (DHH) children as well as hearing children at Taft Elementary. Students from third through sixth grade classes will assemble in the school's outdoor performance area and share in this exciting experience as STOMPers use this opportunity to showcase how vibrations create sound waves. As some deaf or hard of hearing students may not be able to hear all the sounds being created, they can feel the vibrations and rhythm. Following the performance, there will be a Q&A session with cast members from STOMP.

Alley Theatre Artistic Director Gregory Boyd announces the performance schedule for Death of a Salesman. Performances open officially Thursday, October 11 and run through Sunday, October 28 on the Hubbard Stage. As previously announced Glenn Fleshler joins the cast of the Alley Theatre's Death of a Salesman asWilly Loman. He was the understudy for Willy Loman in the recent Broadway production. His Broadway credits also include Captain Brice, RN in Tom Stoppard's Arcadia and Antonio's man/ensemble in Shakespeare's The Merchant of Venice. An updated performance schedule is included below.

Hennepin Theatre Trust today announced a new lineup of 2012-13 events for The Scene, our Broadway and performing arts group for patrons in their 20s and 30s. The Scene will kick off the new season with a launch event set for Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012 including a 6 p.m. pre-show cocktail hour at Rosa Mexicano and discounted tickets to Disney's Beauty and the Beast at the Orpheum Theatre, the classic musical that begins the Trust's 2012/13 Broadway Season.

Featuring a lively cast of dozens, delightful music, gorgeous costumes, and those deliciously spooky ghosts, the Bay Area's favorite holiday tradition returns with American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.)'s celebrated production of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. Now in its 36th year, this version of A Christmas Carol, adapted by Paul Walsh and Carey Perloff, stays true to the heart of Dickens's timeless story of redemption and brings a playful sensibility to his rich language. A Christmas Carol runs November 30-December 24, 2012, at A.C.T.'s Geary Theater (415 Geary Street, San Francisco). Amas Musical Theatre (Donna Trinkoff, Artistic Director) in association with Scandobean Productions, LLC will present a new musical with book, music and lyrics by David Rossmer and Steve Rosen entitled The Other Josh Cohen. It will be directed by the very fancy, Tony Award-winning Ted Sperling, with choreography by Andrew Palermo and musical direction by Vadim Feichtner. The Other Josh Cohen will begin performances on October 10 and open on Sunday, October 21. It runs through November 11, 2012 only, and plays at the scenic SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street). Boise's own Lee Reisig and Billy Jackson have been bringing the world of competitive jump roping to the Cirque Dreams entertainment brand since 2009. They have now created 3 troupes totaling a dozen 'jump ropers' to tour the U.S. and Korea in the renowned holiday spectacular, Cirque Dreams Holidaze, which will rehearse and launch one of multiple North American tours from the Morrison Center in Boise, ID.
