Ernst & Young Volunteers Lend a Hand on CSC's THE MOUSETRAPOctober 11, 2012Centenary Stage Company would like to thank the volunteers from Ernst & Young (Corporate Office Secaucus, NJ) for their help in building the set for the main stage production of Agatha Christie's The Mousetrap. Along with CSC's own technical director, Tom Fagerholm, the volunteers also worked under the guidance of Bob Phillips, most well known for his work as set designers for Sesame Street. The volunteers helped with the set painting, construction and took on other jobs that were vital in the final outcome of the set.

Ashley Chico Joins BAY RIDGE VOICE, 10/27October 11, 2012Ashley Chico - The 16-year-old Fort Hamilton High School student gained great acclaim as a leading performer in Teen Idol - has been dancing since she was five and singing since eighth grade. With J's New Dance Center, she toured locally in dance productions at festivals and community centers. She even sang solos at these festivals. Her first professional singing came in 2009 when she joined the Young Artists Program of Genesis Repertory. It was with that youth program that she appeared in Alice in Wonderland, Alice through the Looking Glass, and Peter Pan. As an original member of Bay Ridge Voice, Ashley hopes to cultivate her talents even more. She is even discussing recording her music in the near future.

CAP21 Theatre Company Celebrates 20th Anniversary, Announces Upcoming SeasonOctober 11, 2012As the CAP21 Theatre Company celebrates their 20th Anniversary, Executive Artistic Director, Frank Ventura and Artistic Director, Eliza Ventura have announced CAP21's 2012-2013 ambitious "Season of New Work", which promises to further develop at least 20 new musicals in the coming year through various programming that the Theatre Company offers. Additionally the upcoming year will include two Off-Off Broadway productions: Maiden Voyage (working title) by musical team Michelle Elliott and Danny Larsen and Recount (working title), a co-production with Rescue Agreement. ROCKY HORROR Comes to New Hope Arts Center, 10/19-28October 11, 2012Dr. Frank N. Furter and his wacky entourage return to New Hope, PA when The Rocky Horror Show comes to the New Hope Arts Center this month. The first week of performances is scheduled for Friday, October 19 at 11:59 pm, Saturday, October 20 at 9 pm and 11:59 pm and Sunday, October 21 at 9 pm. A second weekend of performances will take place on Friday, October 26, Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28. Tickets are $22 online and $25 at the door.
