Great Lakes Theater (GLT), Cleveland's Classic Company, will present an extraordinary pre-show discussion and performance event exploring the healing power of the arts and the connections that have been discovered between art and medicine, in conjunction with the company's production of Moliere's classic The Imaginary Invalid, at the Hanna Theatre, PlayhouseSquare on Saturday, October 27th. Commencing at 6:15 p.m. with a pre-show discussion featuring experts in the disciplines of Art Therapy, Neurology, Holistic Coaching and Dance in the Hanna Theatre's Salon, the event will culminate with a performance of Great Lakes Theater's main stage production of The Imaginary Invalid at 7:30 p.m. as part of GLT's Classics and Conversations audience engagement series.

Mies Julie was the hands-down, must-see hit and Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award-winner at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Building upon a rich history of importing standout Edinburgh productions and major international companies to America in recent years, St. Ann's Warehouse (Artistic Director, Susan Feldman; Executive Director, Andrew D. Hamingson) will present this American Premiere (and the Baxter Theatre Centre's American debut), which adapts the August Strindberg classic to post-apartheid South Africa. Performances will take place November 8 - December 2, marking the official opening of the new St. Ann's Warehouse at 29 Jay Street in DUMBO, Brooklyn.

SHN today announced the return engagement of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning hit musical JERSEY BOYS, the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. The musical will make its much-anticipated return to San Francisco at the SHN Curran Theatre on March 9, 2013. JERSEY BOYS replaces the previously postponed World Premiere of DINER on the SHN 2012-2013 Season. Tickets for the return of JERSEY BOYS go on sale Friday, October 26 at 10 a.m.

The lights are off and the stage is set for a special Halloween treat as audiences follow Denny, Kenny, and Penny as they encounter witches, a sad ghost, and a sparkling vampire on Halloween night. Done entirely in black light the puppets, stage and YOU glow in the dark creating a fun and thrilling adventure for the whole family. Vineyard Theatre (Douglas Aibel, Artistic Director and Sarah Stern, Co-Artistic Director) will open its 30th Anniversary season with the world premiere production of CHECKERS, a new play by Academy Award nominee Douglas McGrath (Emma, Infamous, Bullets Over Broadway), directed by Terry Kinney (Reasons To Be Pretty, After Ashley). 3K Pictures announces today that veteran sales agent Mimi Steinbauer and her company Radiant Films International is handling all worldwide rights excluding North America to director Sam Kadi's debut drama THE CITIZEN. Previously, Steinbauer has handled international sales on titles such as Academy Award winning THE HURT LOCKER, GHOSTRIDER: SPIRIT OF VENGEANCE 3D, BLUE VALENTINE and the box office phenomenon LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy. THE CITIZEN was produced by Kadi, Chris Wyatt (NAPOLEON DYNAMITE) and Alan Noel Vega, with Ameer Kabour executive producing. The film is currently scheduled to screen for distributors at the upcoming American Film Market after the international premiere at the Abu Dhabi Film Festival on October 14th.
