One new member was elected, one member was elected to the position of chair of the Endowment Board, and two past members were re-elected, at the Oct. 3 meeting of the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts Endowment Board. Eric Slavinsky, chief information officer of LG&E and KU was elected for the first time, member Rick Guillaume was appointed to the position of chair of the Endowment Board, and Mary Stone, founder of the Convention Connection, and Joy Yudofsky, of Yudofsky Furriers, were reelected.

The GRAMMY Foundation also offers preservation and advancement initiatives, fosters dialogue about compelling issues facing the music industry, supports projects that increase the understanding of music and its role in society, and raises public awareness about the urgent need to preserve our nation's recorded sound legacy. These programs include the Entertainment Law Initiative®, the Grant Program with funding generously provided by The Recording Academy®, the Living Histories program, and the Music Preservation Project.

Pacific Resident Theatre (Marilyn Fox, Artistic Director) announced today the full cast and creative team for NORA. Stage Adaptation and translation of Henrik Ibsen's play A Doll's House by Ingmar Bergman (Miss Julie, Scenes from a Marriage), English translation by Frederick J. Marker and Lise-Lone Marker, and directed by PRT's Dana Jackson, performances will open on November 10, 2012 through January 27, 2013 with an official press opening on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 8:00p.m. NORA is the second show of Pacific Resident Theatre's 26th season.

Cast members from America's Got Talent Live In Las Vegas visited The Animal Foundation Thursday, October 25 to kick off a new partnership and awareness campaign. Million-dollar AGT winners Olate Dogs and runner-up Tom Cotter took part in a tour of the facility and a meet-and-greet with donors, staff and visitors. Richard and Nick Olate even managed to find two new members for their famous four-legged team, adopting Kilo and Snowball, rescues they met during their tour.
