New York City?s cutting edge percussion quartet, S? Percussion, will give a unique performance aboard a Capital Metro Red Line train on Thursday, November 1 at 3:44 p.m., beginning at the Downtown Station (401 E. 4th Street). The quartet will be in Austin attending the Percussive Arts Society International Convention (PASIC). S? Percussion and Capital Metro will present this unconventional concert experience, which is the first event developed by Texas Performing Arts? Classical Music Task Force.

Interference Arts' IT IS SHE WHO I SEE Begins 11/15

It is She Who I See is the inaugural production of the new multimedia performance company Interference Arts. In this show, Artistic Director Craig Harris draws the audience into an innovative immersive multimedia environment. The production creates a rich visual environment designed by Jim Peitzman that integrates remarkable digital illustrations by artist Candy Kuehn, projected on a series of scrims hung around the stage. The mood created by these projections is enhanced with lighting design by Mike Grogan, a 2012 Ivey Award winner. After the formal performance, audiences are invited to interact with others in the immersive environment, in whatever "character" the experience encourages.

Christian Youth Theater - North Idaho (CYT-NI) says 'Be Our Guest' for something magical! Step into the enchanted world of Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Nov 1-11 at the Salvation Army Kroc Community Theater, 1765 W.Golf Course Rd., Coeur d'Alene, ID. Seventy-eight local school children ages 8-18 make up the cast with an additional 25+ on crew all overseen by 65+ adult volunteers. All of the children are currently taking theater arts classes in CYT's fall session of their after-school theater arts education program.
