Dance Uptown: Feast Your Senses Set for 11/16 & 17

ocal and international choreographers – Rodney A. Brown, Susan Hadley, Ohad Fishof and Noa Zuk, and Melanie Bales in collaboration with Catherine Turocy – create original works featuring deconstructed baroque ballet, emotionally laden expressionism, tender narratives of passage, and gutsy new movement. With a sensual and diverse palette of flavors and styles, Dance Uptown gives the audience a journey through time and space through the ever-evolving languages of contemporary dance.

The Department of Dance also presents a Young People's Concert led by Melanye White Dixon on Friday, November 16 at 10:30am for over 500 Columbus Public School children. Support provided by The Arts Initiative in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Karen Bell Fund.
