Choreographers Brian Brooks, Beth Gill and Pontus Lidberg have been awarded New York City Center's 2012-13 Choreography Fellowships. The Fellowship program was launched in conjunction with the theater's reopening season in 2011-12 with a mission to support choreographers at critical stages in their careers. It reflects City Center's long history of nurturing dance makers from George Balanchine to Christopher Wheeldon.

Settle down at one of the candle-lit cabaret tables or sink into a comfy leather sofa in the Ware Center's beautiful Grand Salon overlooking the twinkling lights of Lancaster city as you listen to Ken Gerhart perform classic holiday repertoire with a twist of jazz. Ken has been performing as a musician for more than thirty years, primarily as a guitarist/violinist, in various musical scenarios. Ken performs, teaches, composes and arranges for over 17 instruments. This cabaret is the last live performance in the Fall 2012 Artistic Season at the Center. The Winter/Spring 2013 Season does not begin again until February. The Ware Center will not be open to the public from Dec. 16 - Jan. 25 for continued renovations to the building.

The Cleveland Orchestra performs the musical soundtrack for a showing of the 1936 classic film, Modern Times. In the final appearance of Chaplin's iconic Little Tramp (the character that brought him world fame), the incomparable actor-director created a comedy about man's struggle to survive in the industrialized world during the Great Depression. William Eddins conducts the Orchestra. Performing with the Orchestra in the roles of singing waiters will be Brent Chamberlin, Jason Levy, Rohan Mandelia, and Matthew Rizer.

American Theater Company announces the world premiere of the revised version of columbinus, written by Stephen Karam and PJ Paparelli, with dramaturgy by Patricia Hersch, and conceived and directed by Artistic Director PJ Paparelli. The 2013 production will premiere a revised second act devised from recent interviews with survivors, families of victims and residents of Littleton. The new material includes never-before-released information on the shooters and their families and first-hand accounts of both the Columbine and Aurora shootings. columbinus will run February 1 - March 10, 2013, at American Theater Company, 1909 W Byron St, Chicago, IL.
