Cloris Leachman, Amy Madigan, Wendie Malick and Jean Smart star in a staged reading of Recipe, a new play by award-winning playwright Michael Gene Sullivan. What do a group of middle-aged ex-hippies do to fight the good fight after the "revolution" has long since ended? They bake! The outdoor amphitheater at The Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum is terraced into the hillside of the rustic canyon and is home to the oldest Shakespearean Repertory Company in Los Angeles.  Audience members are advised to dress casually and bring cushions for bench seating. Refreshments are available at the venue, and picnickers are welcome before the performance.
