The Museum of Modern Art has selected Quentin Bajac as its next Chief Curator of Photography, MoMA Director Glenn D. Lowry announced today. Mr. Bajac, who has been the Chief Curator of Photography at the Centre Pompidou, Musée Nationale d'art moderne in Paris since 2007, will assume his new position at MoMA in January 2013.

Charlie Hofheimer is set to join the cast of Nicky Silver's new comedy THE LYONS on Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48 St.) starting Tuesday, June 12. Mr. Hofheimer assumes the role of Curtis Lyons, joining the cast of THE LYONS which stars 2012 Best Actress Tony nominee Linda Lavin, Dick Latessa, Kate Jennings Grant, Brenda Pressley and Gregory Wooddell.

The second installment of the exhibit will be on view from June 14 through August 19 at Museum of the Moving Image and will explore the work of ten esteemed filmmakers, designers, and technicians through a presentation of rarely seen props and costumes, behind-the-scenes research notes, sketches, video interviews, and materials used in the pre-production process.

OPERA America, the national non-profit service organization for opera, is pleased to announce details of Opera Conference 2012: Creative Resurgence, to be held in Philadelphia, PA from June 13-16. Co-hosted by Opera Company of Philadelphia and in association with Opera Volunteers International, this largest annual gathering of opera professionals in North America will convene at venues along the Avenue of the Arts, in the heart of Center City. This marks the second time that the conference is being held in Philadelphia; the city previously hosted in 1997.
