Question Bridge: Black Males a video installation created by artists Chris Johnson and Hank Willis Thomas in collaboration with Bayeté Ross Smith and Kamal Sinclair. Originally scheduled to close on June 3 this acclaimed exhibition has been extended through July 15 at the Brooklyn Museum.

The Howard County Center for the Arts, a 27,000 square foot community facility located in Ellicott City, Maryland, is seeking proposals from artists for Art Maryland 2012, a biennial multi-media juried exhibit. The juror for Art Maryland 2012 is Philippa Hughes, Founder and Chief Contrarian of The Pink Line Project. A minimum of $1,000 will be awarded by the juror. The exhibit will be on view from October 26 - December 14, 2012 with a reception and remarks by Ms. Hughes on October 26 from 6-8pm.

Mayor Michael Nutter announced today that James Earl Jones-one of the country's most critically acclaimed stage and screen actors-will receive the 2012 Marian Anderson Award. The Museum of Modern Art has selected Quentin Bajac as its next Chief Curator of Photography, MoMA Director Glenn D. Lowry announced today. Mr. Bajac, who has been the Chief Curator of Photography at the Centre Pompidou, Musée Nationale d'art moderne in Paris since 2007, will assume his new position at MoMA in January 2013.

Charlie Hofheimer is set to join the cast of Nicky Silver's new comedy THE LYONS on Broadway at the Cort Theatre (138 W. 48 St.) starting Tuesday, June 12. Mr. Hofheimer assumes the role of Curtis Lyons, joining the cast of THE LYONS which stars 2012 Best Actress Tony nominee Linda Lavin, Dick Latessa, Kate Jennings Grant, Brenda Pressley and Gregory Wooddell.
