Due to popular demand, Soho Rep, in association with John Adrian Selzer, extends the world premiere of Chekhov's Uncle Vanya, the new version by playwright Annie Baker, directed by Sam Gold. The run will now go through July 22. The initial six-week run is sold out.

The Cabaret announces several changes to the fall season lineup. Tony Award winning Broadway and Disney star Susan Egan will replace Laura Benanti for the 2012 fundraiser; Glee & Spring Awakening's Jonathan Groff will replace Gavin Creel; and local performer Brenda Williams will replace Everett Greene in the holiday show "Martinis and Mistletoe."

Celebration Theatre has announced that the final show of its 2011-2012 Season will be a very limited run of Noel Coward's classic comedy, DESIGN FOR LIVING, directed by Brian Schnipper (Standing On Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays). DESIGN FOR LIVING will open on Friday, July 13 and will perform through Saturday, August 25 at Celebration Theatre, 7051B Santa Monica Blvd in Hollywood.

This exhibition showcases some 80 prints and artists' books the Museum has acquired over the past two years, and reveals how an art collection is always a work in progress. On view for the first time at MoMA, these seminal works in the history of printmaking span more than a century, from 1888 to 2011, with some contextualized by related works already in the collection.

The Pub Landlord will be swapping his bar stool for a drum stool when he appears at the event as a compere. Hennepin Theatre Trust announced today that two students in the SpotLight Musical Theatre Program, Emily Nies from White Bear Lake High School and Daniel Piering from Wayzata High School, were selected to represent Minnesota at the National High School Musical Theatre "Jimmy" Awards to be held at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2012 at the Minskoff Theatre in New York City.

Tribeca Film announced today that it has acquired U.S. rights to Kim Nguyen's award winning War Witch (Rebelle), a powerfully poignant film shot in the Congo with an exceptional lead performance by Rachel Mwanza, a newcomer who was discovered on the streets of Kinshasa. In her very first acting role, Mwanza has already garnered critical acclaim for her astounding performance winning the Silver Bear- Best actress award at the Berlin Film Festival, where the film made its world premiere in competition, as well as the Best Actress in a Narrative Feature Film Award at the Tribeca Film Festival. The film took home the "Founders Award" for best narrative feature at Tribeca, where it made its North American premiere.
