HGTV's summer programming continues with six all-new series and 13 specials premiering throughout July, August and September. The network has fresh offerings for every fan of the home, including those who enjoy peeking inside other people's houses, travel enthusiasts and reality competition addicts. Highly anticipated new series include Buying and Selling, hosted by the Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott, and Living Abroad, where host Chi-Lan Lieu visits Americans adapting to their new lives outside the United States. New specials include the HGTV Green Home Giveaway 2012 and HGTV Urban Oasis Tour 2012.

Hedgerow Theatre continues its 11-year summer tradition of Ray Cooney farces with Not Now, Darling, co-written by Cooney and John Chapman, from July 5 to August 12.

The Board of Directors of Chicago Muse, an organization dedicated to the development of new musical-theater projects, announced today it has ceased operations and will contribute the Corporation's assets to Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST). The contribution of more than $500,000 will establish a newly endowed fund at CST in support of the Theater's ongoing commitment to commission, develop and produce new musicals.

The annual Fourth of July Homecoming Reunion's on the horizon, and residents of Texas' third-smallest town can bet the fireworks won't be the only sparks flying. The hilarious third installment of the knee-slapping Tuna series, Red, White and Tuna, takes over the Playhouse July 3-15 to treat Caledonia to a heaping plate of the Lone Star State.

Shakespeare Orange County will open their twenty first season with the presentation of RICHARD III. The production runs July 19-August 4 at Garden Grove's open air Festival Amphitheatre ---outside and 'Under the Stars.' Returning to the Festival this season are John Walcutt as Richard, Evelyn Carol Case as Queen Elizabeth and Amanda Zarr as Lady Anne. Veteran company member Carl Reggiardo directs this production.

Broadway In Chicago's Concert moves to Millennium Park this summer. Seven writers have been selected as finalists in Pride Films and Plays' 2012 Women's Work Contest, which is for works for the stage or screen and written by women with lesbian characters or themes. They are Lynne S. Brandon, Olivia Briggs, Trish Cole, Ilene A. Fischer, Carolyn Gage, Jenny Hagel, and Kari Morris. Their works include two full-length screenplays, two plays, one short screenplay, and two one-act plays.
