Potter's Grint On No- Stage Nudity PolicyAugust 23, 2010Harry Potter star Rupert Grint (who plays Potter pal Ron Weasley in the franchise) tells the U.K. Daily Telegraph that he has no plans to take on stage work that requires nudity. He explains: 'I would love to do theater, but I refuse to get my kit off...I would do anything before doing that.' Grint's co-star, Daniel Radcliffe, of course, famously disrobed on Broadway for his starring role in Equus in the 2008 - 2009 season.

Ryan Murphy: Spears 'Probably' Back for 2nd GLEE EpisodeAugust 23, 2010As BroadwayWorld has previously reported, GLEE will feature a Britney Spears tribute episode in its second season, premiering September 21, 2010 on FOX. Heather Morris, who plays 'Brittany' on the show, will be playing Britney Spears in a dream sequence with Ms. Spears herself, it is believed.
Zaptoit.com has revealed of the episode that 'New Directions' pleas for Britney tunes fall on deaf ears with Mr. Schuester (Matthew Morrison), so when they pay respective visits to the dentist (John Stamos), anesthesia-induced fantasies bring out the musical numbers and the all-but-official Britney cameo.'

PEE-WEE HERMAN SHOW Extends 4 Weeks Prior to Broadway Opening; Now Runs Thru Jan. 2August 19, 2010Producer Scott Sanders announced today that an additional four weeks of performances have been added to the limited Broadway engagement of the highly anticipated stage play, The Pee-wee Herman Show. Beginning previews October 26 and opening on November 11, the limited engagement was originally scheduled to run through December 5. The engagement will now add 32 performances and run through the Christmas and New Year's holidays, giving its final Broadway performance on January 2, 2011 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd street).
