The New York Times profiles Hollywood producer Robert Evans today, who is the subject of an upcoming Broadway play penned by television writer Jon Robin Baitz, as BroadwayWorld previously reported. The story will surround Evans real life events. In the Times article, Evans discusses how he suffered a stroke and was originally paralyzed on his right side and unable to speak. After much work, Evans has been able to return to his role of successful Hollywood producer.

The national tour of the hit Broadway show GREASE will play its final performance on May 23rd in Cleveland. The tour was originally supposed to hold a limited run in Boston; however, that run has been canceled. The tour will play Cleveland's Palace Theatre from May 11th through the 23rd.

THe Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre will present Jason Robert Brown's musical, 13, beginning March 4th and running through March 21st. The production is both directed and choreographed by Blake Coheley. The cast of thirteen 13-year-olds includes Alexis Bruza, Nicholas Dayton, Caleb Engen, Morgan Laurent, Maddie Mateer, Jonathan May, Chris Newhouse, Rilan Roppolo, Ximone Rose, Catherine Simpson, Sarah Stuckey, Dillon Tauzin, and Dylan Troost.

The Agatha Christie classic murder mystery, 'And Then There Were None,' will be read by Westport Country Playhouse actor alumni and audience favorites Geneva Carr, Keir Dullea, Beth Fowler, Charlotte Moore, Ciarán O'Reilly, Joe Paulik, Jay O. Sanders, Mark Shanahan, Mark Silence, Doug Stender and Paxton Whitehead on Monday, February 22, 7 p.m., at Westport Country Playhouse.

Broadway's Kathy Najimy will join the cast of ABC's 'Ugly Betty' for a guest starring role as Betty's orthodontist in an upcoming episode, TVGuide.com is reporting. Najimy will be looking to remove the title character's braces, in addition to playing a role in Betty's dreams as a guardian angel. The episode is set to air March 24th.

KNUFFLE BUNNY: A CAUTIONARY MUSICAL will hold its world premiere run at the Kennedy Center from May 8th to May 23rd. The production will star Broadway veteran Stephanie D'Abruzzo as Trixie. The musical is based on the book 'Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale.' The play has book and lyrics by Mo Willems and features music by Michael Silversher.

WhatsOnStage.com is reporting Mandy Patinkin will star in the upcoming production of PARADISE FOUND, the new musical co-directed by theatre legends Susan Strohman and Hal Prince. The musical will play the Menier Chocolate Factory from May 19th through June 26th. The show is expected to move to New York sometime following the Chocolate Factory run.

Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts will present An Evening with Christine Ebersole on Friday, Feb. 26, at 8 p.m. The concert will take place in the Center's new, state-of-the-art Virginia G. Piper Theater.

Artistic Director/CEO Kate Maguire has announced the schedule for the 2010 Berkshire Theatre Festival season. This season features one world premiere, two musicals, and multiple classics from the theatrical canon. Writer Jon Robin Baitz is currently in the works of authoring a new play about Hollywood film producer Robert Evans. Evans worked on such films as Rosemary's Baby, Love Story, The Godfather and Chinatown and was also well known for his much-publicized seven marriages. The play is expected to open during the 2010-2011 Broadway season.

Stage and screen stars Andrea Anders and Allison Janney are being tapped to star in a new ABC pilot series, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The series, entitled 'Mr. Sunshine,' features Anders opposite Matthew Perry's Ben, a San Diego stadium owner who comes to the realization he can no longer skirt by on his charm and good looks.

Producers Jean Doumanian and Sonia Friedman announced today that they hope to bring their Martin Luther King Jr. play, THE MOUNTAINTOP, to Broadway in fall of 2010 according to The New York Times. The play surrounds King's last nights before his assassination. The play premiered in London in summer 2009 and was written by Katori Hall.

Arizona Theatre Company celebrates its 43rd season on Saturday, April 17 with CURTAIN UP! 2010: Live from New York City. Marquee Five will bring their show 'We Can Make It: The Songs of Kander and Ebb' back to Don't Tell Mama for a repeat performance on February 25th and April 15th. Broadway star Louis Gossett Jr. announced today that he is battling prostate cancer. Gossett Jr. said he was able to catch the cancer in its early stages and is receiving treatment. He is also using this opportunity to encourage other African-Americans to be examined early as to avoid any future complications.

Broadway vet Jeffrey DeMunn has joined the cast of the upcoming production of DEATH OF A SALEMAN, opening in April at the Dallas Theater Center. DeMunn will play the role of Willy Lohman in the Arthur Miller classic. The show will run April 16th through May 16th.

WestBeth Entertainment and Henson Alternative have announced the New York debut of STUFFED AND UNSTRUNG, a live uncensored show that lets loose the perilous and provocative elements of comedic improvisation on stage with a bunch of puppets. Created by award-winning director, producer, writer and performer Brian Henson and actor and improvisational guru Patrick Bristow, this one-of-a-kind comedy performance is set for a special 10-week limited engagement kicking off Wednesday, March 17 at the Union Square Theatre.
