Alric Davis is a rising senior Musical Theatre major and a Playwriting minor at Howard University. He is the recipient of the Theatre Under the Stars’ Tommy Tune Award Scholarship and a recipient of the Texas Thespians Scholarship Award for Excellence. He is also a 2016 Spring Apprentice for the Mosaic Theatre Company in Washington D.C. Some of his favorite performance credits are Anything Goes, Insurrection and Not About Nightingales at Howard; Other credits include The Wiz, Little Shop of Horrors, The Color Purple, Ruined, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom. Directing credits: Passing Strange, Fences, Dearly Departed. He has co-founded The Bayou Theatre Company, a community-based Non-Profit Organization in Houston with the purpose of exposing, educating and enriching lives of youth through Theatre. Psalm 139:14.
